Step 5: CAR T-Cell Infusion

Your CAR T cells are infused through your central line. The infusion generally takes up to 30 minutes. A nurse will be with you while your new cells are infused, and will monitor your blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and breathing.

You may receive other medications before the infusion to help prevent a reaction.
